NeoSep1 Trial for Neonatal Sepsis
In July 2026, the NeoSep1 international clinical trial expanded to India, with the first newborn enrolled at JIPMER, Puducherry, to evaluate effective antibiotic combinations for treating drug-resistant neonatal sepsis.
- The trial is sponsored by the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP) in collaboration with international partners.
