SpaceX Launched Biggest-Ever Starship Test Flight
On 22nd May 2026, SpaceX launched the biggest and most powerful version of its Starship rocket on a test flight from Starbase in Texas.
- The spacecraft carried 20 mock Starlink satellites, which were released during the hour-long mission.
- The mission ended in the Indian Ocean after the spacecraft completed most mission objectives despite some engine-related issues.
- The launch marked the 12th test flight of the Starship programme, which is being developed for future missions to Mars and the Moon.
