‘Visit My State’ Campaign

  • On 13th May 2026, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department launched the ‘Visit My State’ campaign to promote domestic tourism and cultural heritage across Uttar Pradesh.
  • The initiative aims to boost tourist footfall, generate employment opportunities, and support local artisans and businesses.
  • Under the campaign, state-run museums across Uttar Pradesh will provide free entry to children and families for two months.
  • The government plans to develop destination-based tourism packages covering major cities such as Ayodhya, Varanasi, Agra, Mathura, Prayagraj, Lucknow, and Mirzapur.
