First Indian State to Develop a DNA Database for Unidentified Bodies

  • Himachal Pradesh has made history by becoming the first Indian state to establish a DNA database specifically for unidentified bodies.
  • This groundbreaking initiative commenced in April 2022, and the database currently contains 150 DNA samples of unknown individuals.
