Logistics Performance Index 2023
On 21st April, 2023, the World Bank released the seventh edition of Logistics Performance Index (LPI) as part of its report, titled ‘Connecting to Compete’. The index provides a measure of countries’ ability to move goods across borders with speed and reliability.
About the Index
- The LPI, which covers 139 countries, measures the ease of establishing reliable supply chain connections and the structural factors that make it possible, such as the quality of logistics services, trade and transport-related infrastructure, and border controls.
