National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC)
On 10th April 2026, the National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) celebrated its 25th Foundation Day.
- NSTFDC was set up in 2001 under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- The main objects of the Corporation is to work for socio-economic and educational upliftment of Scheduled Tribes (STs), to provide better self-employment avenues so that they can become economically independent and self-reliant.
- The Corporation undertakes a wide range of activities for socio-economic and educational upliftment of the STs by devising and implementing financial assistance schemes exclusively for the tribal groups.
