Sweden's NATO Membership Clears Hurdle
Recently, Sweden's aspirations to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) received a significant boost as Turkey's parliament backed its membership on 23rd January, 2024, overcoming opposition that persisted for almost two years.
- Sweden, historically neutral, sought NATO membership due to changing geopolitical dynamics.
