Agri-stack is a collection of digital databases and standards that provide a unique identity to every farmer and their land, enabling the delivery of personalized services. It operates as a 'federated' architecture where the Central and State governments collaborate to maintain verified registries of farmers, land, and crops.

How Technology is Put to Work

  • Unique Farmer ID: Every farmer is assigned a digital ID (similar to Aadhaar) linked to their land records, crop data, and livestock ownership.
  • Data Layering: It layers Geographic Information System (GIS) data with land ownership details to create "Geo-referenced Village Maps" that verify the exact boundaries ....
