Major ISRO Missions
During the last five years, 22 ISRO satellites have been launched. Out of which 7 are Earth Observation, 4 are communication, 2 are navigation, 3 are space science and 6 are technology demonstration missions.
Recent Missions
- Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-04): This mission marked India's first human presence on the International Space Station (ISS) through a commercial partnership.
- Launched in June 2025, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla conducted 18 days of microgravity research, focusing on muscle atrophy and crop growth to support future Gaganyaan objectives.
