DRDO’s Indigenous Systems

DRDO is India’s premier defence R&D agency, mandated to design, develop, and deploy indigenous defence technologies across land, sea, air, space, and cyber domains. DRDO is heavily advancing India’s aatmanirbharta in defence through indigenously developed systems across land, air, sea, and electronic warfare. Key systems include the Akash and Nag missiles, LCA Tejas, Arjun MBT Mk-1A, Astra BVR Air-to-Air Missile, Varunastra torpedo, and various surveillance radars like Ashlesha and Bharani.
