India’s First Multi-Lane Free Flow Tolling System
- Recently, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)-initiated company, Indian Highway Management Company Limited, signed an agreement with ICICI Bank to implement India’s first comprehensive multi-lane free flow tolling system on NH-48 at Choryasi Toll Plaza, Gujarat.
- Additionally, an agreement was signed with ICICI Bank to implement a multi-lane free flow tolling system at Gharaunda Toll Plaza on NH-44, Haryana.
- Multi-lane free flow tolling is a barrier-free system that uses high-performance RFID readers and ANPR cameras to read FASTag and Vehicle Registration Numbers (VRN), enabling transactions without stopping vehicles. This allows seamless toll collection at toll ....
