NSCSTI 2.0 Framework
On 18th July 2025, the Union Government unveiled the National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutes 2.0 (NSCSTI 2.0).
- The enhanced framework aims to standardize and modernize training across Civil Services Training Institutes (CSTIs) under the broader reform umbrella of Mission Karmayogi.
Why a new framework was needed?
- The earlier NSCSTI model laid the foundation for training standards. However, the rising complexity of governance and the integration of digital learning made it essential to evolve.
- NSCSTI 2.0 was designed after assessing inputs from over 160 CSTIs, making the model inclusive and field-tested.
