Assisted Reproductive Technology Regulation Bill, 2020
The Union Cabinet has approved the Assisted Reproductive Technology Regulation Bill, 2020 proposing a legal framework and code of conduct to keep a check on in-vitro fertilisation, embryo transfers and sperm banks- another set of infertility related services and industry that are mushrooming rapidly in the country.

- A National Board will be constituted to lay down code of conduct to be observed by persons working at clinics, to set the minimum standards of physical infrastructure, laboratory and diagnostic equipment and expert manpower to be employed by clinics and banks.
