Outcry over Article 371(A)
- Ruling party Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) in Nagaland has triggered a debate on Article 371(A) that guarantees special status for the people of Nagaland.
- It said that taking the advantage of provision in Article 371(A), the landowners usually do not allow the government to carry out any development activities on their land.
