World’s Largest Hybrid Renewable Energy Park Coming Up in Gujarat
Recently, Prime Minister laid the foundation for the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park to generate 30,000 MW power through solar panels and windmills along the India-Pakistan border in Gujarat’s Kutch district. He also laid the foundation for a desalination plant at Mandvi in Kutch district.
Hybrid Renewable Energy Park
- The park is being set up by the Gujarat government (Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation) with the participation of private players like the Adani Group, Suzlon along with NTPC Ltd.
