Frontier Highway Project
- The Government has been pushing for the ambitious Frontier Highway project along the “India-Tibet border” for facilitating faster movement of troops, along the border area.
- In the light of the recent Indo-China face-off in Ladakh(Galwan Valley), there is now an acute urgency to focus on border infrastructure. From a policy perspective, India needs an infrastructural revolution at its borders for national security, to fortify against external threats, to bring connectivity to unconnected territory, and to maintain peace and prosperity.

- Also known as the Arunachal Frontier Highway and Mago-Thingbu–Vijaynagar Border Highway, the 2,000-kilometre-long road follows the McMahon Line.
