Governance Reforms Approved by Russia
Russia has adopted new governance reforms on November 17, 2020. The new Reforms are to begin from 1 January 2021 and proposed to be completed by April 1, 2021.
Major Reforms
A. Administrative Office
- According to the reforms, the staff within the central administrative office is to be reduced by 5%.
- The staff within territorial governments is to be reduced by 10%.
B. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia
- President Vladimir Putin recently signed an order to increase the number of Deputy Prime Ministers from 9 to 10.
