  • On 22th May, 2019, Justice Ajay Kumar Mittal was been sworn in as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.
  • Justice Mittal was recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium to be elevated as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court in a resolution dated April 8, 2019.
  • Prior to his appointment, he was a Judge at the Punjab and Haryana High Court and will take over as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court from May 28, 2019.
  • He will take over as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court following the retirement of the present Chief Justice, ....
