COVID-19 Indian National Supermodel
The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has initiated a COVID -19 Indian National Supermodel with a view to monitor the future transmission of infection. The supermodel will guide decisions involving health system readiness and other mitigation measures.
- The Indian National Supermodel will be a robust mathematical forecasting model for predicting the spread of COVID-19 and enhancing disease surveillance.
- The model will rely only on data that is relevant to COVID-19, and will also have an adaptive, built-in component to learn from the newer trends in the data. It will aggregate successful evidence-based mathematical and statistical forecasting models ....
