Climate Breakthroughs Summit
On 27th May, 2021, the Climate Breakthroughs Summit was held virtually. During the summit, world leaders discussed and demonstrated progress in critical sectors of the global economy, including steel, shipping, green hydrogen and nature.
About the Summit
- Climate Breakthroughs Summit is a collaboration between the World Economic Forum, Mission Possible Partnership, the UN Climate Champions and the UK Conference of Parties 26 (COP26) Presidency.
- It highlights the need and significance of systemic change to realise the global transition to a zero-carbon economy.
- One of its key campaigns is ‘Race to Zero’ campaign that mobilises support of 708 cities, 24 regions, 2,360 businesses, ....
