Asian Wrestling Championships 2019

  • The Asian Wrestling Championships 2019 was held from April 23rd-28th at Xidian University Gymnasium in Xian, China.
  • The Indian Team including men and women bagged 16 medals (1 gold, 6 silver, 9 bronze). Bajrang Punia clinched gold medal in 65kg category.

Asian Athletics Championships

  • The 23rd Asian Athletics Championships was held from April 21st-24th at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
  • India finished at the fourth spot in the medals tally with 3 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 Bronze. Bahrain topped the table while China was second and Japan was third.
