Green Protocol in Kerala
In a bid to encourage the use of eco-friendly materials in electioneering and to address all related queries, the District Suchitwa Mission opened a stall at the Kollam, Kerela collectorate on March 20th.
Earlier, the Kerala High Court had prohibited use of flex materials and other non-biodegradable materials for election campaigning throughout the state.
Recent Initiatives
Kerala earned laurels in 2015 for implementing a ‘Green Protocol’ while hosting the National Games. It was subsequently implemented in many religious and social events as well as by the state’s Suchitwa Mission.
