Voicing Dissent Against Govt. Does Not Amount to Sedition: Supreme Court
Recently, while rejecting a plea to terminate the Lok Sabha membership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and book him for seditionover his remarks after the abrogation of Article 370, the Supreme Court said that voicing dissent against the government does not amount to sedition.
