United Kingdom’s Internal Market Bill Passed
A controversial government Brexit bill that breaches international law has safely passed its final House of Commons hurdle, despite continued serious doubts on September 29, 2020.
United Kingdom Internal Market Bill
- On September 9, 2020, UK Government published a UK Internal Market Bill.The bill is designed to “protect jobs and trade” within the UK after the end of 2020’s transition period for leaving the EU. Under the withdrawal treaty, a transition period has been finalised until December 2020.
