Green Hydrogen/Green Ammonia Policy
On 17th February, 2022, the Ministry of Power notified the Green Hydrogen/Green Ammonia Policy for production of green hydrogen or green ammonia using renewable sources of energy.
- The policy has been notified as part of the government’s efforts to facilitate the transition from fossil fuel / fossil fuel based feed stocks to green hydrogen / green ammonia.

- Hydrogen and ammonia are envisaged as future fuels that can gradually replace fossil fuels. Production of these fuels by using power from renewable energy, termed as green hydrogen and green ammonia, is one of the major requirements towards environmentally sustainable energy security of ....
