Minsk Agreement
Amidst the ongoing conflict between the Russia and Ukraine, France suggested that the only way for peace talks to prevail between Russia and Ukraine was through the Minsk agreement, a deal yet to be implemented.
- There were aimed at enabling a permanent peaceful solution to the geopolitical tension between Russia and Ukraine.

Minsk I
- Seeking an end to the war, the first Minsk Agreement was signed in Belarus in September 2014.
- Signatories to the agreement were Russia, Ukraine, Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the pro-Russia leaders from Donetsk and Luhansk.
