India Highlights Rights-Based, People-Centric Development at UN Forum
On 4th February 2026, India highlighted its rights-based, inclusive and people-centric development approach at the 64th session of the UN Commission for Social Development (CSocD64).
- The approach was articulated during the UN discussion on “Leveraging outcomes of the Second World Summit for Social Development from Copenhagen to Doha.”
About the 64th Session (CSocD64)
- The 64th session of the Commission for Social Development was held from 2 to 10 February 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
- The priority theme of the session was “Advancing Social Development and Social Justice Through Coordinated, Equitable Policies.”
