Integrated Farming System For Small Farmers
On 8th February 2026, while interacting with the Scientists of the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister called on scientists to develop integrated farming models, aiming to enhance the income of small farmers.
What is Integrated Farming System (IFS)?
- It is a sustainable agricultural system that integrates livestock, crop production, fish, poultry, tree crops, plantation crops and other systems that benefit each other.
