IAAF to become World Athletics

  • Members of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) council have approved plans to rebrand the governing body as World Athletics.
  • The decision was agreed at an IAAF Council meeting held in Monaco and will see the organisation take on its new name and a re-designed logo after the World Athletics Championship in Doha in October.
