UNSC 1267 Committee
- Recently, China blocked a joint move by India and the US to list Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leader Abdul Rehman Makki as a global terrorist at the UN Security Council (UNSC) under Al-Qaeda and ISIL Sanctions Committee (UNSC 1267 Committee).
- The UNSC Resolution 1267 was adopted unanimously on 15th October, 1999.
- The committee comprises all 15 members of the Security Council and its procedures require consent of all the council members to accept a listing ....
