Bal Hitaishi Gram Panchayat (Child Friendly Gram Panchayat)
- Recently, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), in collaboration with the Government of Bihar, launched Child Friendly Gram Panchayats (CFGP) in a total of 10 Gram Panchayats of Araria and Purnia districts of the state.
- Chouri, Majlishpur, Pechali, Kankhudiya and Pakri Panchayats of Araria district have been identified to be developed as CFGP.
- At the same time, Khuti Dhunaili, Jhuni Kala, Khuti Hasaili, Malhariya and Ganger of Purnia district have been included in CFGP.
- Under the Child Friendly Gram Panchayat (CFGP), 'Bal Sansad' will be formed, in which the opinion of children will be taken before preparing development plans for the Panchayat.
