Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP)
- On 22nd June, 2024, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs inaugurated the ‘Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveller Programme’ (FTI-TTP) at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, New Delhi.
- It aims to reduce crowding at airports by providing quicker immigration clearance for pre-verified travellers.
- FTI-TTP is similar to the Global Entry Program in the United States. It allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to go through immigration and security checks faster.
- In the first phase, FTI-TTP is available at airports in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, and ....
