India-Russia Mutual Logistics Agreement Nears Conclusion
On 20th June, 2024, Russia revealed that it is contemplating a new tier of military collaboration with India, which includes the joint deployment of troops and a logistics support agreement. Russia recently approved the draft mutual logistics agreement.
Simplified Military Exchanges
- The agreement will streamline military-to-military interactions for exercises, training, port calls, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) efforts.
- This agreement is part of a series of similar agreements India has signed with other countries, starting with the United States in 2016.
