3rd Voice of the Global South Summit

The 3rd Voice of the Global South Summit was held on 17th August 2024, and was hosted virtually by India. The 1st and 2nd editions were held in January 2023 and November 2023, respectively, also hosted by India.

Key Outcomes of the Summit

  • The 2024 theme was “An Empowered Global South for a Sustainable Future”, focusing on sustainability, equity, and collective resilience.
  • Prime Minister Modi called for a unified voice of the Global South at the upcoming UN Summit of the Future in September 2024.
