India’s First International Agri Hackathon
On 3rd June 2025, India’s first International Agri Hackathon concluded in Pune with a call to embrace technology as the future of farming.
- The event was jointly organized by Pusa Krishi, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) & Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers' Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare.
Objective
- To addresses the challenges posed by a growing population, climate change, and agricultural uncertainties, envisioning a future where agriculture can transform lives.
- To harness the potential of innovation to build sustainable and scalable agricultural solutions.
