Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan
On 18th June 2025, Union Agriculture Minister announced the relaunch of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan to boost Indian agriculture and enhance farmers’ livelihoods during the upcoming Rabi crop season.
- The first phase of campaign - Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) – was launched on 29 May 2025 from Puri, Odisha. The 15-day national campaign, concluded on 12 June.
- Aim of the campaign was to bridge the gap between scientific research and grassroots agriculture by reaching over 1.5 crore farmers across 700+ districts with the support of 16,000 agricultural scientists and 2,170 interdisciplinary teams.
