ASEAN, Russia Adopt Kazan Declaration
On 18th June 2026, Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) adopted the Kazan Declaration at the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, marking 35 years of dialogue relations and strengthening their Strategic Partnership.

- The summit adopted the Kazan Declaration 2026, reaffirming commitment to strengthen political, economic, security and people-to-people cooperation.
- Both sides adopted the ASEAN–Russia Comprehensive Plan of Action (2026–2030) as the roadmap for future collaboration.
- Russia reiterated its commitment to ensure stable supplies of food, energy and fertilizers to ASEAN countries.
- Both sides emphasized support for a rules-based, multipolar international order guided by the UN Charter.
