- Timeline: India was declared completely free from Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) in March 2026—a conflict that originated with the 1967 Naxalbari (West Bengal) uprising.
- Statistical Decline: Between 2010 and 2025, a historic decline of 88% in Naxal violent incidents (from 1,936 to 234) and 90% in deaths (from 1,005 to 100) was recorded.
- Four Pillars: The national strategy against LWE is based on four pillars: Strengthening Security, Development, Protecting Local Rights, and Building Public Trust.
- Filling the Security Vacuum: 833 new security camps have been established in affected areas to fill the security vacuum.
