G7 Summit 2026 Adopts Nine Declarations
Recently, the G7 Summit 2026(16-17th June), hosted by France, concluded with the adoption of nine declarations aimed at addressing global security, economic, technological and humanitarian challenges.
Key Highlights
- France adopted an inclusive approach by involving partner countries including India, Kenya, Brazil, South Korea and Egypt, along with civil society and the private technology sector.
- G7 leaders adopted nine declarations covering global security, economic stability, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, global health and transnational crime.
- Reaffirmed support for Ukraine, called for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and backed a ceasefire and state authority in Lebanon.
