GRAPES-3 Muon Telescope Study
Recently, scientists at the GRAPES-3 Muon Telescope in Ooty analysed 22 years of data to study the relationship between Earth's upper atmosphere, solar activity, and cosmic rays.
- The researchers analysed muon detections recorded by the GRAPES-3 Muon Telescope, one of the world's largest cosmic ray detectors.
- Galactic cosmic rays are high-energy particles originating from deep space that continuously bombard the Earth's atmosphere.
