On 15th June 2026, the Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully flight-tested the Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island (Odisha), demonstrating India's indigenous long-range precision strike capability.
