NESTS–Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission MoU
Recently, the National Education Society for Tribal Students signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission to strengthen the implementation of the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Scheme in Bihar.
- The agreement aims to improve access to quality education for tribal students through better governance, infrastructure and academic delivery.
- The MoU seeks to strengthen the EMRS ecosystem by enhancing coordination between the Central Government and the Government of Bihar.
- It provides a structured framework for collaboration in the planning, establishment, operation and monitoring of EMRS institutions in the state.
