2025 Henley Passport Index

According to the 2025 Henley Passport Index, India has fallen five places to rank 85th, granting visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 57 countries worldwide.

  • India’s best ranking was 71st in 2006.
  • The Henley Passport Index ranks passports based on the number of destinations holders can enter without a prior visa, using data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and updated monthly by Henley & Partners.
