Global Burden of Disease Study 2023
On 12th October 2025, the Global Burden of Disease Study 2023 was published in the journal The Lancet.
- The study, launched at the World Health Summit, Berlin, highlights a global shift in causes of mortality and morbidity, with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) now accounting for nearly two-thirds of global deaths and illnesses.
