India–ASEAN: Strengthening Strategic Partnership for a Sustainable Future
On 26th October 2025, Prime Minister participated virtually in the 22nd ASEAN–India Summit hosted by Malaysia.
- The Summit brought together leaders from 11 ASEAN member countries, including newly inducted member Timor Leste, to review progress under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and outline the future roadmap for cooperation.
India–ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
- This marked Prime Minister Modi’s 12th participation in the ASEAN–India Summit, highlighting India’s consistent engagement with ASEAN as part of its Act East Policy.
- Extended India’s support for implementing the ASEAN–India Plan of Action (2026–2030) to advance strategic cooperation.
