India Re-elected as Vice-Chairperson of COP10 Bureau
India participated in the 10th Session of the Conference of Parties (COP10) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport, held from 20–22 October 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris.
- The Convention, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is the only legally binding global framework aimed at promoting integrity and eliminating doping in sport.
- India was re-elected as the Vice-Chairperson of the Bureau for the Asia-Pacific (Group IV) for the 2025–2027 term. Azerbaijan was elected Chairperson, while Brazil, Zambia, and Saudi Arabia were chosen as Vice-Chairs for their regions.
- India also contributed in-kind support by providing interactive digital boards showcasing the journey of the Anti-Doping Convention.
