Samudra Shakti Exercise

  • The Indian Navy hosted the 5th edition of the bilateral maritime exercise “Samudra Shakti” with the Indonesian Navy from October 14–17, 2025, at Visakhapatnam.
  • Objective: To enhance interoperability and strengthen maritime cooperation between the two countries, which included several professional and operational activities both ashore and at sea.
  • INS Kavaratti represented India, while KRI John Lie represented Indonesia.
