Ex-Post Facto Approval to Migration and Mobility Agreement between India and Italy
The Ministry of External Affairs' proposal to sign and ratify the Migration and Mobility Agreement between India and Italy has recently received ex-post facto approval from the Union Cabinet.
- The Agreement was signed on 2nd November, 2023, by External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar on Indian side and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Shri Antonio Tajani on Italian side.
- It aims to enhance cultural ties and facilitate mobility among students, skilled workers, business professionals, and young talent between India and Italy.
