Expansion of ENACT Partnership
The Enhancing Nature-based Solutions for an Accelerated Climate Transformation (ENACT) Partnership is witnessing significant growth with six new countries and two United Nations agencies coming on board.
- France, the United States of America, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Pakistan, and the UN Environment Programme, along with its World Conservation Monitoring Centre, are joining the ENACT Partnership.
About ENACT
- Launch: Launched at COP27 in December 2022 by Germany, Egypt, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), ENACT is a global initiative aimed at combating climate change, land and ecosystem degradation, and biodiversity loss through Nature-based Solutions.
