Lab to Land: Empowering Farmers Technically
- Through 'Lab to Land' efforts in the country, the research and resources being conducted in laboratories are being taken directly to the villages along with making the farmers technologically prosperous.
- To catalyze technical self-reliance in the farming community and increase the income of farmers, cultivation of aromatic crops has been started in the 'Aroma and Flower Farming Mission' of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
- Under Aroma Mission, 6000 hectares have been brought under cultivation, which covers 46 districts. More than 44,000 people were trained, 231 distillation units were set up and 500 tonnes of essential oil ....
